TxDOT Bent Cap Analysis Program (CAP18) is a Windows-based engineering tool developed by the Texas Department of Transportation for the analysis and design checking of reinforced concrete bent caps used in highway bridges. It helps bridge engineers model cap geometry, reinforcement, column layouts, and girder bearing locations, then evaluate structural demands and capacities in accordance with TxDOT criteria and applicable AASHTO LRFD provisions.
